About

Larry Baker is retired from a 44-year career in Christian education. Serving schools in Minnesota, Michigan, Colorado and California, his roles changed from HS math teacher to HS principal, to K-12 superintendent. Larry and his wife, Joan, have three grown children, a daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and three grandchildren who are scattered around the country.

Larry is a former math teacher who now enjoys working with words more than he does numbers. As high school principal he wrote weekly Friday morning devotions for the teachers and students at Central Valley Christian School. This blog was started with the intention of sharing those devotional writings to a larger audience. As superintendent, that audience widened as he often sent a weekly “Friday Reflection” to the school community.

The Bakers are now living in a small community northwest of Denver.

    Hi Larry,
Can you share your blog with Matt? I think he would enjoy reading it. I know I do.
